ABOUT US
Hi, we're Jean & Dina.
Married, raising two boys, and writing down what we’re learning as we go. JeaniD is where those notes live.
WHY JEANID
A folder of notes that became a website.
We started keeping notes because we kept repeating the same conversations: what we believe, how we spend, how we repair an argument, what kind of home we want our children to remember.
Somewhere along the way the folder got too full to keep to ourselves. So we made it a place — part journal, part field guide, part letter to the people we love.
We are not writing from the other side of the lesson. We are writing from inside it.
WHAT WE TRY TO PRACTICE
Three things we keep coming back to.
01
Faith first
The invisible thing that holds the visible things together. It shapes how we spend, forgive, rest, and show up.
02
Honest over impressive
We would rather tell the truth about a hard week than curate a life that looks easy.
03
Still learning
We change our minds. The notes change with us. That is the point of writing them down.
THE TWO OF US
Two people, one last name.
JEAN
Jean — infrastructure, cloud, and quiet systems.
I'm Jean. For the last eleven years I've been building and securing the invisible parts of organisations — the networks, servers, clouds, and backups that everything else stands on. I've done it in healthcare, government, and private business, in Egypt and Zambia, and I now design private, air-gapped AI systems for teams that can't let their data leave the building.
What I enjoy most is making complicated things calm: moving a company to the cloud without drama, closing a security hole before it becomes a headline, or setting up a private AI assistant that actually protects the people using it. I write here about faith, family, and the ordinary life around all of that.
If you run a business, clinic, church, or team and you're stuck on infrastructure, cloud costs, security, or how to use AI without giving away your data — that's my kind of problem. Send me a note and we'll think it through together.
DINA
Dina — medicine, people, and the art of explaining.
I'm Dina, a pharmacist with more than ten years in hospitals, outpatient pharmacies, and community health in Egypt and Zambia. I've managed a pharmacy, handled inpatient and theatre supplies, and spent a lot of my time sitting with patients — especially mothers — explaining what a medicine is for, why it matters, and what to do when it's hard.
Alongside pharmacy, I've been executive director of a seminary college since 2019: curriculum, faculty, students, budget, and a learning platform for more than 120 people. I like the human side of systems — training, clarity, and making sure nobody gets left behind.
If you need help understanding a treatment plan, setting up a pharmacy or a health-education programme, training a team, or running an educational project with care — I'd love to help.
